Social science and humanities of medicine syllabus collections

I’m sure that many of you are already familiar with this resource, but I only came across it recently: the National Library of Medicine hosts a very impressive history of medicine syllabus archive.  The collection is very well organized–it can be browsed by professor, course title, institution and subject–and comparatively up-to-date–most syllabi are from the past five years.  The topics range from geographically and periodically-themed survey courses to those on more closely focused subjects such as disease and epidemics, gender, mental illness, global health, science and the body.

There is a lot to explore here, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for, you might also try the excellent collection of medical humanities syllabi hosted by NYU’s Medical Humanities website, the STS syllabus collection hosted by 4S, or the quite extensive collection of medical anthropology syllabi hosted by the SMA.
