Foreign Correspondents
Related to the post below (A New Journal, Anthropologie & Santé), I would like to announce a new section on Somatosphere: “Foreign Correspondents.” “Foreign Correspondents” will include journal announcements, conference announcements and summaries, as well as book reviews and book review essays on works published in languages other than English. We also encourage those of you who publish articles in languages other than English to post English-language summaries on Somatosphere through the new section. Our aim is to remain aware and engaged with scholarship occurring “elsewhere” (though for many of us, elsewhere isn’t too far away…). Stephanie Lloyd and I will largely be coordinating this effort, so if you have ideas or suggestions, direct them to one or both of us.
